“BULMER, a parish in the hundred of HINCKFORD,
county of ESSEX, 2 miles (W. S. W.) from Sudbury, containing
628 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
vicarage, with that of Belchamp-Walter consolidated, in
the archdeaconry of Middlesex, and diocese of London,
rated in the king's books at £8, and in the patronage of
Samuel Milbanke Raymond, Esq. The church is dedicated
to St. Andrew.”
