"HUTTON, a parish in the hundred of BARSTABLE,
county of ESSEX, 2½ miles (W.) from Billericay, containing
418 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the
archdeaconry of Essex, and diocese of London, rated
in the king's books at £8, and in the patronage of the
Dean, and Chapter of St. Paul's, London. The church
