"HAZELEIGH, a parish in the hundred of DENGIE,
county of ESSEX, 2¾ miles (S. S. W.) from Maldon, containing
128 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Essex, and diocese of
London, rated in the king's books at £4.13.4. Mrs.
Irwin was patroness in 1804. The church is dedicated
