“TARRANT-LAUNCESTON, a parish in the hundred of Pimperne, county Dorset, 5¼ miles N.E. of Blandford, its post town. In the vicinity are several barrows. There is no village, only a few farmhouses. The living is a curacy annexed to the vicarage of Tarrant Monckton, in the diocese of Sarum. The church is much dilapidated."
