A small tributary of the river Lyd passes through the village. Harely and Rawles are two hamlets included in this parish The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Salis-bury, of the value with that of Bellchalwell annexed, of £360. The church is dedicated to All Saints. The parochial charities produce about £15."
