THRUSHELTON, a parish in the hundred of LIFTON, county of DEVON, 11 miles (S. W. by W.) from Oakhampton, containing 397 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Mary- Stow, in the archdeaconry of Totness, and diocese of Exeter. The church is dedicated to St. George.
