The Council’s Annual Report was presented at its 24th July 1917, Barnstaple General Meeting. On this occasion Council thanks were conveyed to authors who presented the Illustration Plates to the Papers printed in Transactions Vol. XLVIII. A copy of these Transactions was sent to every Association Member, as well as to a number of museums and learned societies. The Report, from a copy of a rare journal can be downloaded from the Internet Archive. Google has sponsored the digitisation of books from several libraries. These books, on which copyright has expired, are available for free educational and research use, both as individual books and as full collections to aid researchers.
