KENNERLEY, a parish in the hundred of CREDITON,county of DEVON, 5 miles (N. by W.) fromCrediton, containing 93 inhabitants. The living is aperpetual curacy, in the jurisdiction of the ConsistorialCourt of the Bishop of Exeter, endowed with £200private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty, and in thepatronage of the Governors of the Crediton charity.The church is dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
