BROADWOOD-WIDGER
[Description(s) from The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland (1868)]
"BROADWOOD-WIDGER, (or Bradwood Widger) a parish in the hundred of Lifton, in the county of Devon, 6 miles to the N.E. of Launceston. The Thistle Brook, which falls into the river Tamar, runs through the parish. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Exeter, of the value with that of Week St. German's annexed, of £148, in the gift of the Dean and Chapter of Bristol.
