A Few Sheaves of Devon Bibliography Gleaned by the Late Rev John Ingle Dredge
Trans. Devon Assoc., vol. 31, (1899), pp. 331-355.
by
Frances B. Troup
Prepared by Michael Steer
The late Rev J Ingle Dredge, archivist and sometime Rector of Buckland Brewer left a number of sheaves of a Devon Bibliography he had been preparing. His daughter, Mrs Robert Dymond of Bideford approached the author requesting that she should prepare the Bibliography as a paper to be delivered at the Association's 1899 Torrington meeting. Google with the Archive Organization has sponsored the digitisation of books from several libraries. The Internet Archive makes available, in its Community Texts Collection (originally known as Open Source Books), books that have been digitised by Google from a number of libraries. These are books on which copyright has expired, and are available free for educational and research use. This rare book was produced from a copy held by the New York Public Library, and is available from the Internet Archive.
