Proved 3 July 1577 by procurator of Elizabeth Mallett.
To poor of Beaford, of Great Torrington, & of South Molton.
To my godson Samuel Rolle.
To my goddaughter Cassandra Laune
To my sister Zenobia Sentabin.
To my cousins Margaret & Hugh Ackland.
To my friend Thomas Molford.
To my wife Elisabeth my lands &c. in South Molton purchased of William Peryam Esqre., & my lands etc. called Blynsham in Beaford for life.
John M. Esqre., my father decd.
Whereas there is an agreement between Lewis Stickley of Affeton Bsqre. & me to convey to me & my heirs the Manor of Ashreigney & the Patronage of the par: ch: in performance whereof the sd. Lewis S. has received of me £100 & is to receive £230 more on a day appointed, I give the same to my wife, remre. to my right heirs.
To Anthony Pollard of Horwood Esqre., Hugh Acland Esqre.,
& Thomas Molford Gent. Certain lands in South Molton to the use of Christian M. & Eleanor M.
Residue to my son John M., whom I make my exor., but if I die before he is 21, or if he die under 21, my wife to be my exx,
