In the Name of God Amen I John Light of Barnstaple within the County of Devon and Archdeaconry of Barnstaple Gunsmith Armourer of his Majesty's Sloop Dispatch do make publish pronounce and declare my last Will and Testament in the following manner and form I give and bequeath unto my son John Light the sum of ffive Pounds and two Shillings to be paid by my Executrix within three Months after my decease I give and bequeath unto my Daughter in Law Mary Downing half a Guinea to be paid within four Months after my decease I give and bequeath unto my Niece Katherine Bond Daughter of my sister Mary Bond half a Guinea to be paid in three Months after my decease I give and bequeath unto my sister Mary Bond Widow one Shilling to be paid in three Months after my decease All the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattels Rights and Credits I give and bequeath unto my Dearly beloved Wife whom I do hereby name and appoint sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Twenty ninth day of May one thousand seven hundred and sixty nine John Light
