Wikipedia tells us:
"Unstone is a village and civil parish in the English county of Derbyshire, situated in the North East Derbyshire administrative district approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) south east of Dronfield."

Unstone is served by the Mobile Library on route N, which makes a stop on Sheffield Road every fourth Monday in the mid afternoon.
The Dronfield Library is an excellent resource with a Local History section and a Family History section.
Many residents of Unstone would be buried in the Dronfield Cemetery after 1877.

- The Anglican parish church is dedicated to Saint Mary.
- The church was built as a chapel of ease to Dronfield in 1920, but became a district church in 1925.

The River Drone runs through the parish. The Unstone Line is a nature preserve along the old railway line through the parish. Unstone Green is a large portion of Unstone immediately to the south of the original hamlet. built as a housing estate in the 1940s. Take the B6057 secondary road out of Chesterfield to reach Unstone.
