- Stockham was a township in Runcorn ancient parish, Bucklow hundred (SJ 5481), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- The civil parish was abolished in 1936 to become part of Norton.
- It includes parts of the hamlets of Brookvale and Palace Fields
- The population was 46 in 1851, 34 in 1851, and 38 in 1901.
