- Keckwick was a township in Daresbury chapelry of Runcorn ancient parish, Bucklow hundred (SJ 5783), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- The civil parish was abolished in 1936 to become part of Daresbury.
- The populationwas 69 in 1801, 89 in 1851, and 65 in 1901.
