- King's Marsh was an extra-parochial place in Broxton hundred (SJ 4254), which became a civil parish in 1858.
- It included the hamlet of Rowley Hill.
- The population was 40 in 1801, 91 in 1851, 65 in 1901, 56 in 1951, and 30 in 2001.
- In 2015 the civil parish was abolished and incorporated into Farndon.
