"MOULSFORD, a parish in the hundred of Moreton, county Berks, 4 miles S.W. of Wallingford. It is situated near the Thames, and on the line of the Great Western railway. The village is small and wholly agricultural. The tithes have been commuted for a rent-charge of £225. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Oxford, value £60. The church is an ancient structure, dedicated to St. John the Baptist. The charities produce about £7 per annum. There is a village school."
