This 45 page booklet concentrated on south-east Lincolnshire. It had no index so, with Lou's encouragement, I have produced an Index Nominum containing about 75 names which will follow in three postings to the List. Unfortunately the nature of the text makes it very difficult to offer look-ups, so I am not doing so. It is, however, a fascinating read. In particular, I noticed that the population of Elloe Wapentake was only 8 families per 1000 acres in 1563. In 1563 Holbeach had 147 families, Spalding 154, Pinchbeck 200, Swineshead 209, Kirton 228, Frieston 147, Deeping St. James 157.
